Connecticut High School Basketball - Bridgeport Central can't hold off Stamford

February 2, 2023: Stamford, CT 06902

The Stamford Black Knights basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers to 49 in the Black Knights league triumph on Thursday.

The Black Knights now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kolbe-Cathedral for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Stamford will battle a Cougars team coming off a 56-33 league win over Weston (Weston, CT). The Cougars record now stands at 13-2.

The Hilltoppers (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against New Canaan (New Canaan, CT). The Rams enter the Fairfield County contest with a 6-5 record.
