Michigan High School Basketball - Merritt Academy knocked off by Canton Preparatory

The Canton Preparatory Chargers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Merritt Academy Mustangs to 54 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Chargers now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3.

The Mustangs (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against International Academy (Flint, MI). The Phoenix enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, International Academy was defeated by Flint Southwestern Academy (Flint, MI), 2-0, in a league contest.
