New York High School Basketball - Carthage knocked off by General Brown

The General Brown Lions basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Carthage Comets to 53 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Immaculate Heart Central for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. General Brown will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 72-31 non-league loss to Sackets Harbor Central (Sackets Harbor, NY). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-11.
The Comets (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Gouverneur (Gouverneur, NY). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Gouverneur was defeated by Massena (Massena, NY), 74-60, in a league contest.
