In Thursday's league outing, the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA), by a count of 67-35.
The Knights (16-4) will now prepare for their outing against Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, Liberty Christian was crushed by Heritage (Lynchburg, VA), 66-49, in a league outing.
The Cougars now hold a 5-14 record. They play next when they host Salem for a River Ridge outing on Tuesday, February 7. Pulaski County will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 50-41 non-league loss to Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 9-12.
