Centreville Wildcats (Clifton, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA), 53-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Centreville upgrades its record to 6-12 on the season. The Wildcats host Oakton (Vienna, VA) to play the Cougars in a District 1 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 3-14. Oakton lost 76-61 in their recent league bout against James Madison (Vienna, VA)

Next up, the Chargers play the Westfield Bulldogs (Chantilly, VA) in a District 1 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Chantilly will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 69-48 league loss to South Lakes (Reston, VA).
