In Thursday's league outing, the Chatham Panthers (Chatham, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rensselaer Rams (Rensselaer, NY), by a count of 69-39.

The Panthers (14-2) will now prepare for their outing against Coxsackie-Athens (Coxsackie, NY). The Riverhawks go into the Section 2 Patroon outing with a 7-9 record. In their last outing, Coxsackie-Athens smashed Rensselaer (Rensselaer, NY), 71-53, in a league outing.

The Rams now hold a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Northville for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 4. Rensselaer will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 53-32 non-league win over Cherry Valley-Springfield (Cherry Valley, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 13-4.
