Michigan High School Basketball - Chavez Academy overwhelmed by Star International Academy

The Star International Academy Falcons basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Chavez Academy Aztec Eagles to 9 in the Falcons league victory on Thursday.
The Falcons now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Davis Aerospace Tech for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Star International Academy will battle a Aviators team coming off a 46-38 league loss to Communication Media Arts (Detroit, MI). The Aviators record now stands at 2-8.
The Aztec Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Cabrini (Allen Park, MI). The Monarchs come into the Catholic Intersectional II contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Cabrini triumphed over Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit (West Bloomfield, MI), 71-54, in a league contest.
