Jamestown Red Raiders (Jamestown, NY) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Clarence Red Devils (Clarence, NY), 59-58 in a league bout.

With the victory, Jamestown upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Red Raiders travel to Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 15-2. Bishop Timon-St. Jude won 94-85 in their recent league bout against Nichols (Buffalo, NY)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Lancaster Legends (Lancaster, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County I bout, on Saturday, February 4. Clarence will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Legends come into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 61-46 league loss to Williamsville North (Williamsville, NY).
