With the victory, Classical improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Purples travel to North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI) to play the Skippers in a State Championship challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Skippers come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. North Kingstown lost 56-40 in their recent league challenge against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI)

Next up, the Thunderbolts play the Woonsocket Villa Novans (Woonsocket, RI) in a State Championship challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Cranston East will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Villa Novans come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 77-50 league loss to Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI).
