Cornerstone Christian Eagles (Rainsville, AL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Marshall Christian Academy Stallions (Albertville, AL), 52-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cornerstone Christian upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Glen Iris Baptist (Birmingham, AL) to play the Swordsmen in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Swordsmen come into the bout with a record of 20-2. Glen Iris Baptist won 62-52 in their recent non-league bout against Milford Christian (Milford, OH)

Next up, the Stallions play the Clay County Christian Academy Eagles (Ashland, AL) in a Alabama Christian - II North bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Marshall Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record.
