Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI), 54-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Cranston West upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Falcons travel to Times Squared Academy (Providence, RI) to clash with the Eagles in a Division 2 bout on Monday, February 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-17. Times Squared Academy lost 63-21 in their recent league bout against Tiverton (Tiverton, RI)

Next up, the Oakers clash with the Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI) in a Division 2 bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Coventry will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
