Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers (Croswell, MI) and the visiting Yale Bulldogs (Yale, MI), saw Croswell-Lexington's basketball squad knock off Yale by a count of 35-27.

With the victory, Croswell-Lexington upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Algonac (Algonac, MI) to play the Muskrats in a Blue Water Area challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Muskrats come into the challenge with a record of 2-10. Algonac lost 56-40 in their recent league challenge against North Branch (North Branch, MI)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Richmond Blue Devils (Richmond, MI) in a Blue Water Area challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Yale will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 52-38 league win over Imlay City (Imlay City, MI).
