In Thursday's league match, the visiting East Duplin Panthers basketball team scored a tight 52-48 triumph over the South Lenoir Blue Devils.
In their next game, the Panthers meet the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) in a 2A Conference 6 match, on Tuesday, February 7. East Duplin will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 9-8 record after their 72-56 league loss to Kinston (Kinston, NC).
