Illinois High School Basketball - Eastland knocked off by Fulton

The Fulton Steamers basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Eastland Cougars to 41 in the Steamers league triumph on Thursday.
The Steamers now sport a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Polo for a Northwest Upstate Illini - South contest on Wednesday, February 8. Fulton will meet a Marcos team coming off a 46-30 league loss to Milledgeville (Milledgeville, IL). The Marcos record now stands at 12-15.
The Cougars (14-12) will now prepare for their contest against Winnebago (Winnebago, IL). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 15-10 record. In their last contest, Winnebago ran past North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL), 48-37, in a league contest.
