The Sidney Eagles (Sidney, TX) basketball crushed the host Evant Elks (Evant, TX), 74-34 in Thursday's league test.
The Eagles (18-11) will now prepare for their test against Gustine (Gustine, TX). The Tigers go into the 1A Region III District 18 test with a 9-12 record. In their last test, Gustine was trounced by Priddy (Priddy, TX), 53-27, in a league test.
The Elks now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Mullin for a 1A Region III District 18 test on Friday, February 3.
