California High School Basketball - Exeter thwarts Reedley

The Exeter Monarchs (Exeter, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Reedley Pirates (Reedley, CA), 52-42 in Thursday's league test.
The Monarchs (9-16) will now prepare for their test against Arvin (Arvin, CA). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 13-11 record. In their last test, Arvin notched a victory over Foothill (Bakersfield, CA), 66-43, in a league test.
The Pirates now own a 2-25 record. They play next when they host Washington Union for a Tri-County - Sequoia test on Wednesday, February 8. Reedley will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 62-51 non-league loss to Immanuel (Reedley, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 14-12.
