Fall Mountain Wildcats (Langdon, NH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hillsboro-Deering Hillcats (Hillsboro, NH), 66-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Fall Mountain upgrades its record to 2-10 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Stevens (Claremont, NH) to play the Cardinals in a Division III bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Stevens won 62-53 in their recent league bout against Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH)

Next up, the Hillcats play the Newport Tigers (Newport, NH) in a Division III bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Hillsboro-Deering will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 50-49 league loss to Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH).
