The Lewis Academy Watchmen basketball team (Newberg, OR), was overwhelmed 53-31 in Thursday's league battle with the host Falls City/Kings Valley Charter Mountaineers (Falls City, OR)

The Mountaineers now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willamette Valley Christian for a 1A Casco battle on Monday, February 6. Falls City/Kings Valley Charter will battle a Warriors team coming off a 49-45 league win over St. Paul (St. Paul, OR). The Warriors record now stands at 15-6.

The Watchmen (5-12) will now prepare for their battle against McKenzie (Finn Rock, OR). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 0-19 record. In their last battle, McKenzie was overwhelmed by Triangle Lake (Blachly, OR), 57-19, in a league battle.
