The Glen Ridge Ridgers basketball team (Glen Ridge, NJ), was overwhelmed 57-29 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Verona Hillbillies (Verona, NJ)

The Hillbillies now possess a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dumont for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 4.

The Ridgers (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Shabazz (Newark, NJ). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 4-12 record. In their last battle, Shabazz was overwhelmed by Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ), 47-42, in a non-league battle.
