The Spring Grove Lions basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Glenville-Emmons Wolverines to 31 in the Lions league victory on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lyle/Pacelli for a A Section 1 contest on Friday, February 3. Spring Grove will battle a Athletics team coming off a 61-46 league win over Schaeffer Academy (Rochester, MN). The Athletics record now stands at 17-2.

The Wolverines (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Cleveland (Cleveland, MN). The Clippers come into the non-league contest with a 0-15 record. In their last contest, Cleveland was routed by Loyola (Mankato, MN), 68-22, in a league contest.
