The Indians now sport a 19-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Merkel for a 3A Region I District 6 contest on Friday, February 3. Jim Ned will meet a Badgers team coming off a 49-26 league win over Ballinger (Ballinger, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 15-13.

The Eagles (1-19) will now prepare for their contest against Clyde (Clyde, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Region I District 6 game with a 17-9 record. In their last game, Clyde was ripped by Wall (Wall, TX), 57-53, in a league game.
