West Virginia High School Basketball - Greenbrier West tipped by Midland Trail

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Midland Trail Patriots basketball team scored a tight 64-62 triumph over the Greenbrier West Cavaliers.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 3. Midland Trail will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Huskies enter the match with a 11-6 record after their 87-68 league win over Nicholas County (Summersville, WV).

With the defeat, Greenbrier West moves to 4-11 on the year. The Cavaliers host Summers County (Hinton, WV) to meet the Bobcats in a non-league match on Friday, February 10. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 8-7. Summers County won 77-55 in their recent non-league match against River View (Bradshaw, WV)
