The Hankinson Pirates basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Maple Valley Raiders to 54 in the Pirates league triumph on Thursday.

The Pirates now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wyndmere for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Hankinson will meet a Warriors team coming off a 59-53 non-league loss to Sargent County (Milnor, ND). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.

The Raiders (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Grove Lutheran (Fargo, ND). The Grovers enter the B Region 1 contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Oak Grove Lutheran ran past Enderlin (Enderlin, ND), 86-44, in a league contest.
