The Pequannock Golden Panthers (Pompton Plains, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ), 87-71 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Golden Panthers (14-3) will now prepare for their test against West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ). The Minutemen go into the non-league test with a 15-5 record. In their last test, West Morris Mendham notched a victory over Randolph (Randolph, NJ), 37-35, in a non-league test.

The Hornets now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Pequannock for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7.
