Hauser Jets (Hope, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Southwestern Spartans (Shelbyville, IN), 48-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Hauser upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Jets host Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Jac-Cen-Del lost 54-40 in their recent non-league bout against Greensburg (Greensburg, IN)

Next up, the Spartans play the Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. Southwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Shiners go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 66-26 league loss to Milan (Milan, IN).
