South Fork Cubs (Miranda, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hoopa Valley Warriors (Hoopa, CA), 65-56 in a league bout.

With the win, South Fork upgrades its record to 17-4 on the season. The Cubs travel to Calistoga (Calistoga, CA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Calistoga lost 46-15 in their recent league bout against Sonoma Academy (Santa Rosa, CA)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Del Norte Warriors (Crescent City, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. Hoopa Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 8-16 record after their 67-33 league loss to Arcata (Arcata, CA).
