Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears (Juneau, AK) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Thunder Mountain Falcons (Juneau, AK), 54-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Juneau-Douglas upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Crimson Bears host Ketchikan (Ketchikan, AK) to play the Kings in a 4A Southeast bout on Friday, February 10. The Kings come into the bout with a record of 10-7. Ketchikan won 70-68 in their recent non-league bout against Wasilla (Wasilla, AK)

Next up, the Falcons play the Monroe Catholic Rams (Fairbanks, AK) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Thunder Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record.
