Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Kansas School for the Deaf Jackrabbits (Olathe, KS) and the visiting Wisconsin School for the Deaf Firebirds (Delavan, WI), saw Kansas School for the Deaf's basketball squad wallop Wisconsin School for the Deaf by a count of 48-22.

With the victory, Kansas School for the Deaf upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Jackrabbits travel to New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM) to play the Roadrunners in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Roadrunners come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. New Mexico School for the Deaf won 45-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Metro Deaf (St. Paul, MN)

Next up, the Firebirds play the Iowa School for the Deaf Bobcats (Council Bluffs, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Wisconsin School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 50-16 non-league loss to Kansas School for the Deaf (Olathe, KS).
