The Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter Imperials basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] Pirates to 47 in the Imperials league triumph on Thursday.
The Imperials now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock for a B Region 3 District 6 contest on Saturday, February 4. Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter will battle a Lions team coming off a 56-24 non-league win over Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] (Turtle Lake, ND). The Lions record now stands at 8-5.
