The Kingsland Knights (Spring Valley, MN) basketball nipped the visiting Southland Rebels (Adams, MN), 56-53 in Thursday's league test.

The Knights (7-10) will now prepare for their test against Alden-Conger (Alden, MN). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Alden-Conger was tipped by Martin County West (Sherburn, MN), 78-45, in a league test.

The Rebels now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Lanesboro for a A Section 1 test on Monday, February 6. Southland will encounter a Burros squad coming off a 78-38 league win over Grand Meadow (Grand Meadow, MN). The Burros record now stands at 12-6.
