The Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Weston Trojans to 33 in the Cougars league victory on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stamford for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Kolbe-Cathedral will battle a Black Knights team coming off a 55-49 league win over Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT). The Black Knights record now stands at 8-5.

The Trojans (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Stratford (Stratford, CT). The Red Devils come into the Southwest contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Stratford was routed by Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT), 86-60, in a league contest.
