Lee Academy Cavaliers (Bishopville, SC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Marlboro Academy Dragons (Bennettsville, SC), 70-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Lee Academy upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Cavaliers host Conway Christian (Conway, SC) to play the Eagles in a SCISA AA Region III bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Conway Christian lost 81-58 in their recent league bout against Dillon Christian (Dillon, SC)

Next up, the Dragons play the Conway Christian Eagles (Conway, SC) in a SCISA AA Region III bout, on Friday, February 10. Marlboro Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record.
