In Thursday's league outing, the Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME) basketball squad nipped the host Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME), by a margin of 69-62.
The Pandas (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against Woodland (Baileyville, ME). The Dragons go into the C North outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, Woodland was tipped by Calais (Calais, ME), 78-57, in a league outing.
The Lynx now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to Penobscot Valley for a C North outing on Monday, February 6. Mattanawcook will clash with a Howlers squad coming off a 49-42 non-league loss to Schenck (East Millinocket, ME). The Howlers record now stands at 8-8.
