With the win, Nixon-Smiley upgrades its record to 20-4 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Great Hearts Northern Oaks (San Antonio, TX) to play the Griffins in a 3A Region IV District 26 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Griffins go into the bout with a record of 12-18. Great Hearts Northern Oaks lost 65-61 in their recent league bout against Luling (Luling, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Great Hearts Northern Oaks Griffins (San Antonio, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 26 bout, on Friday, February 3. Luling will attempt to upgrade on its 14-14 season record. The Griffins go into the bout with a 12-17 record after their 61-23 league loss to Cole (San Antonio, TX).
