With the win, Tyler upgrades its record to 18-8 on the season. The Lions travel to Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a 5A Region II District 15 bout on Friday, February 3. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 14-14. Whitehouse lost 62-39 in their recent league bout against Longview (Longview, TX)

Next up, the Mavericks clash with the Hallsville Bobcats (Hallsville, TX) in a 5A Region II District 15 bout, on Friday, February 3. Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 14-18 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 18-11 record after their 55-54 league win over Pine Tree (Longview, TX).
