Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Mt. Spokane Wildcats (Mead, WA) and the visiting Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA), saw Mt. Spokane's basketball squad wallop Mead by a count of 70-37.

With the victory, Mt. Spokane upgrades its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA) to play the Falcons in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 8-11. Ridgeline won 68-64 in their recent league challenge against Lewis & Clark (Spokane, WA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups (Spokane, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Mead will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Bullpups come into the challenge with a 17-3 record after their 62-50 league win over Ferris (Spokane, WA).
