North Bergen Bruins (North Bergen, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Memorial Tigers (West New York, NJ), 52-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Bergen upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Bruins host Watchung Hills Regional (Warren, NJ) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 10-8. Watchung Hills Regional won 58-35 in their recent non-league bout against Asbury Park (Asbury Park, NJ)

Next up, the Tigers play the McNair Academic Cougars (Jersey City, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 69-45 league win over Ferris (Jersey City, NJ).
