Arizona High School Basketball - South Mountain edges Metro Tech

The South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ) basketball nipped the host Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ), 44-41 in Thursday's league test.
The Jaguars (8-17) will now prepare for their test against McClintock (Tempe, AZ). The Chargers go into the 5A Metro test with a 11-13 record. In their last test, McClintock was tipped by Fairfax (Laveen, AZ), 67-62, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 0-22 record. They play next when they travel to Sierra Linda for a 5A Metro test on Friday, February 3. Metro Tech will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 72-13 league loss to North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-19.
