The Wilcox Central Jaguars (Camden, AL) basketball nipped the visiting Monroe County Tigers (Monroeville, AL), 64-60 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Jaguars (20-5) will now prepare for their test against Keith (Orrville, AL). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 13-13 record. In their last test, Keith got by Johnson (Thomaston, AL), 62-42, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to Shields for a non-league test on Friday, February 3. Monroe County will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 62-60 league loss to McKenzie (McKenzie, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 8-17.
