Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Richland Colts (Colfax, ND) and the visiting Northern Cass Jaguars (Hunter, ND), saw Richland's basketball squad hold off Northern Cass by a tally of 50-47.

With the victory, Richland improves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Enderlin (Enderlin, ND) to confront the Eagles in a B Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Enderlin won 74-69 in their recent non-league challenge against New Rockford-Sheyenne (New Rockford, ND)

Next up, the Jaguars confront the Lisbon Broncos (Lisbon, ND) in a B Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Northern Cass will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Broncos go into the test with a 6-8 record after their 56-42 league loss to Kindred (Kindred, ND).
