Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA) and the host Novato Hornets (Novato, CA), saw Redwood's basketball squad knock off Novato by a count of 62-47.

With the victory, Redwood upgrades its record to 20-5 on the campaign. The Giants host Branson (Ross, CA) to play the Bulls in a Marin County challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Bulls come into the challenge with a record of 22-2. Branson won 65-35 in their recent league challenge against San Rafael (San Rafael, CA)

Next up, the Hornets play the Terra Linda Trojans (San Rafael, CA) in a Marin County challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Novato will attempt to upgrade on its 4-20 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 15-10 record after their 89-79 league win over Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA).
