The Richardson Eagles (Richardson, TX) basketball felled the host Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX), 51-43 in Thursday's league test.
The Eagles (21-10) will now prepare for their test against Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX). The Wildcats go into the 6A Region I District 7 test with a 22-3 record. In their last test, Lake Highlands thwarted Dallas Jesuit (Dallas, TX), 65-40, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 19-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Highlands for a 6A Region I District 7 test on Tuesday, February 7. Pearce will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 95-56 league win over MacArthur (Irving, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 24-3.
