Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Rahway Indians (Rahway, NJ), 53-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Scotch Plains-Fanwood upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ) to play the Chiefs in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Chiefs come into the bout with a record of 8-13. Piscataway lost 52-38 in their recent league bout against J.P. Stevens (Edison, NJ)

Next up, the Indians play the Perth Amboy Panthers (Perth Amboy, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. Rahway will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 72-59 league win over Sayreville (Parlin, NJ).
