The West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY) basketball felled the host Rose Hill Christian Royals (Ashland, KY), 68-49 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Comets (5-16) will now prepare for their test against Greenup County (Greenup, KY). The Musketeers go into the non-league test with a 9-13 record. In their last test, Greenup County was beaten by Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY), 56-44, in a league test.
The Royals now own a 5-17 record. They play next when they host Truth for a non-league test on Monday, February 6. Rose Hill Christian will encounter a Guardians squad coming off a 96-68 non-league loss to West Logan Christian Academy (Logan, WV). The Guardians record now stands at 5-13.
