Nebraska High School Basketball - Yutan can't hold off Syracuse

The Syracuse Rockets basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Yutan Chieftains to 43 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Rockets now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Logan View/Scribner-Snyder for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Syracuse will battle a team coming off a 42-34 non-league loss to Louisville (Louisville, NE). The record now stands at 6-12.
The Chieftains (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Malcolm (Malcolm, NE). The Clippers enter the non-league contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Malcolm nudged Aquinas (David City, NE), 77-70, in a non-league contest.
