The Eaton Reds basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Sterling Tigers to 47 in the Reds league triumph on Thursday.
The Reds now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley for a contest on Tuesday, February 7. Eaton will battle a Vikings team coming off a 39-34 non-league loss to Brush (Brush, CO). The Vikings record now stands at 2-11.
The Tigers (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Windsor Charter Academy (Windsor, CO). The Firebirds enter the contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Windsor Charter Academy was nudged by Estes Park (Estes Park, CO), 33-24, in a non-league contest.
