Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL), 43-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Wilmington upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL) in a bout, on Monday, February 6. Lisle will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Coalers go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 37-33 league win over Lisle (Lisle, IL).
