Capital Prep Trailblazers (Hartford, CT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets (Windsor, CT), 54-15 in a league bout.

With the win, Capital Prep upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Trailblazers travel to Parish Hill (Chaplin, CT) to clash with the Pirates in a Capitol Region bout on Thursday, February 9. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 7-7.

Next up, the Jets clash with the Weaver Beavers (Hartford, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Academy of Aerospace and Engineering will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Beavers come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 29-22 league win over Classical Magnet (Hartford, CT).
