The AHSTW Vikings basketball team (Avoca, IA), was overwhelmed 68-33 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Treynor Cardinals (Treynor, IA)
The Cardinals now possess a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Albert for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 4. Treynor will confront a Falcons team coming off a 49-45 league loss to Glenwood (Glenwood, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 14-4.
The Vikings (7-12) will now prepare for their battle against Tri-Center (Neola, IA). The Trojans come into the Western Iowa battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Tri-Center trounced Riverside (Oakland, IA), 49-32, in a league battle.
