Minnesota High School Basketball - Aitkin ripped by Staples-Motley

The Staples-Motley Cardinals basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Aitkin Gobblers to 38 in the Cardinals league triumph on Thursday.
The Cardinals now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pillager for a AA Section 7 contest on Monday, February 6. Staples-Motley will battle a Huskies team coming off a 64-58 league loss to Marshall/Lakeview Christian Academy (Duluth, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 5-9.
The Gobblers (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN). The Rangers enter the AA Section 7 contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Crosby-Ironton was routed by Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN), 66-53, in a non-league contest.
